Few minutes of testing Thief VR: Legacy of Shadows and it's clear to me that the game has many issues, sadly. But it still seems pretty fun.
Also I can't show the middle finger with my Valve Index, cause it only tracks 3 zones - it's infuriating, cause I would love to do it to City Watch.

Anyhow, if you do any gaming - try to get at least 12 GB, ESPECIALLY if you do streaming - 8 GB is no longer enough and these cards are already obsolete!

Yesterday I started recording segments for the video and I have instantly looped back to a point, where I hate my own voice again doing at minimum 30 takes for each paragraph... it still sounds like ass. It really is a weak voice... 😕

I have asked around and from the responses I got, not only BC7 should not harm the performance of VTube Studio, it might actually improve it due to less bandwidth used (probably not in an observable way). So the downsides are:
- Not supported on mobile.
- Have to be made ahead of time.
- Not supported on mobile.

Sometimes it's easy to get lost in numbers, comparing yourself with streamers more confident than you, who are better predisposed or simply ones who have an easier time figuring out their own niche, but looking retrospectively now with a year behind me - it's a good result!

With Filcher being on sale and finally getting save system - you really should check it out if you are desperate for some first person thieving.
Finished Hexen. Aside from a really difficult ending and how easy it is to get lost it's been a great fun. I can see however, why this isn't as popular as Duke Nukem 3D or Doom, having hubs so complicated that they can quickly become a nightmare to play, because you missed a lever or a wall.

Initial version of VTS Memory Compression is ready. With this little hack you can load BC3 and BC7 compressed DDS texture files, which lowers model's memory usage ~4x and speeds up model's loading ~3x. Only issue is currently you have to manually create DDS files.

And no, I am still convinced - because of how much of a mess GOTY release is (even with GOG fixing one of the maps) that remaster is needed - even Revision comes with outdated renderer. But almost everything we've seen of this remaster was wrong so far.

Been working on a scene transition for OBS using shaders and it's been so cursed I moved prototyping to Unity to be able to better see all stages. Below is essentially a UV output that I want to use for sampling scene A or B pixels. Debut in 2 weeks. 😨
