If i can add, if you DO have trauma, you dont owe your story to anyone, especially strangers on the internet <3
You don’t need trauma to draw taboo.
I keep seeing this mindset spread around the internet, that it’s okay so long as the artist was sexually abused, or they were groomed, etc.
I’ve had people stumble up to me expecting me to go into my trauma so they could justify me being one of the “good ones”

I’ve been trying to read at least one novel and watch at least four films every month in 2026 as my new year resolution and this weekend Lacuna and I watched Sympathy for Lady Vengeance!! IT WAS SOOO GOOD one of PCW’s weirder films though, surreal.
