Will #ESCerts ever be converted to Carbon Credits under #CCTS? Likely not. ESCerts should continue to be traded under subsequent #PAT cycles, but when PAT ends, balancing this ‘expected fungibility’ with integrity of these credits might be challenging—especially in light of #ITMOs #Article6

Attending the stakeholder workshop on the #CCTS. A well-planned policy, but let’s not rush to judge its efficacy in the first cycle trade in 2026 (as with most Command-and-Control ETS schemes with a market twist). Why? Baselines.

Saw this in Port Dickson, Malaysia; an EV charger in a busy lot stayed accessible, unlike in India, where chargers are often blocked by ICE vehicles due to habit and ‘convenience’, creating an unnecessary barrier to uptake. Goes to show how better planning and awareness can drive EV adoption.
