Been rewatching “Kolchak: The Night Stalker.” On January 10, 1975, the episode, “Mr. R. I. N. G.” debuted. It featured a defense contractor, the TYRELL Institute, which made an AI-powered android that ran amok. That can’t be a coincidence. @optimstie.bsky.social, am I crazy?
