Ta-da! Hummingbird cake! I promise, no hummingbirds were harmed in the making of this cake for Esposa and her twin sister, my fabulous SIL. Instead we have: bananas, crushed pineapple, and toasted pecans with a cream cheese filling and frosting.

Guys are cleaning our garage, trying to find where the rats are coming in. So I have a box of old pics and I’m laughing my ass off. A few of them are from when I was in my mid-20’s and had a much better body (I’m wearing a black corset and my boobs are spilling out like a showgirl 😂)

Normally I don’t like to have more than one book going at the same time. But my colleague recommended this one and my library wait list was so long, I figured I could make it work. So far, it’s an interesting read as someone who deals with anxiety and other issues.

I've been listening to my own audiobook just to hear Moira Quirk's performance of THE LAST SOUL AMONG WOLVES and aaaaaaahhhhhhhhh she's SO GOOD!!!! I'm losing my MIND here...absolutely cannot express how wonderful it is to hear such an incredible performance of my book!!!! 💕🤩

Next bake for today’s class the students made
chiffon, sponge, and genoise cakes - which autocorrect keeps calling a “Denise” cake. Seems legit. Here are the almond chiffon, orange sunshine chiffonon, a cannolki cream filled sponge, and two rolled cakes: strawberry cream and chocolate.

September coworkers’ birthdays and a desire to do something different. Not just cheesecake with blueberry filling on top. Nope, the blueberry was mixed into the cheesecake filling. Blueberries and and Lemon zest on top with the whipped cream to top it off
