Nutcrackers are weird. The word makes me giggle. But I do love the ballet! Just wish my nutcracker would stop shedding limbs every damn year. Don’t even know how many times I’ve glued that arm back on.

I’m not great with color…it’s something I’m working on. But have always loved sketching with pen and ink, or procreate’s version in this instance. Plus who doesn’t love a bearded dragon chilling in some cowgirl boots. She’s so purty!

Rainy blustery days are hard. I already feel so fragile, emotionally. The gray makes everything seem too uninviting.

My daughter (13 they them) wore a dress for the first time in a while today and said something like they’ve been afraid to wear dresses because they don’t want people to think they’re not nonbinary anymore. I assured them no one would think that. But…is that true? #stilllearning

Believe it or not, but this little guy is a cut paper collage. Heavily painted, but yes those little legs and antennae are all little pieces of paper! What was I thinking?!
