Stamford’s adult peregrine pair. Both showing clear signs of their moult. In the video note the tiercel has disturbed a lot of wasps as he retrieves the stashed prey.

Went on the BopH osprey safari Thursday afternoon and Fri morning. Saw several osprey both days but the White Tailed Eagles were not visible. But lots of other great birds to see.

Stamford's tiercel this morning including another death defying dive straight down the spire.
Tiercel peregrine, in the morning sun, on top of an English church spire looks over his right shoulder right into the idiot with the camera's soul! The tiercel dives straight down the spire after a pigeon (missed). His shadow is right underneath him and his right wing is almost scraping the spire

The Stamford resident falcon has laid her first egg this morning at 8:47. Here is a video showing the egg laying (very smooth!) and the tiercel seeing it for the first time where he bribes the falcon with a partial woodpecker!

I like this shot of a tiercel peregrine’s shadow this morning as it flew off from a rendezvous with its mate.
A peregrine falcon has taken off in front of a church tower and is flying towards the observer. However the peregrine is not captured rather its shadow. Its wings are wide and the tail fanned open. The shadow dives towards the ground.

Stamford's stunning tiercel (male peregrine) today. One of my favourite shots of him so far. Normally when they fly away they fly up so I have thousands of shots of the underside of his wings so great to see this angle
Stamford's tiercel (male peregrine) flies off from All Saints' church spire on a hunting mission. He's flying downwards to the left of the camera and looking fixedly forward. His angle means we see the top side of his body with both wings fully extended along with his tail like a hand of cards in bridge.
