Used to put water on fires, now ride my bike in between watching Everton, the former was more enjoyable than the latter
Anyone else watched the padded seat fella when he attended our place for the Villa game, just under £1200 but looked a fantastic experience.

One thing I don’t miss about working in the fire service on bommy night is getting bricked, rockets aimed at us, verbal abuse and general feral behaviour on some of the estates, especially ones the planners decided needed an inordinate amount of dead ends. Organised displays only for me.

Can anyone with even an ounce more footy knowledge than me explain why we never, ever, leave a player up the pitch to occupy a few of the opponents players when defending corners, set pieces etc? On the occasions that we clear the ball who the hell is it meant to go to 🤷🏼♂️

If we were still playing at Goodison Moyes would be under more pressure than he currently is, the new stadium is a distraction from the woeful performances that have crept back in. Prior to tonight this is his use of new players

It’s taken 33 minutes of the second half for us to touch the ball in the opposition box, other than an enforced change to bring McNeil on and a striker swap the Manager has done nothing to change things

Pathetic defending from Tarky, again. 25minutes since we’ve had a touch in the Sunderland box, but yeah Barry was the problem 🤦🏼♂️

For the first 30 minutes it looked like we could run away with this game, giving the ball away, missing a sitter, defensive meltdown and two woeful substitutions later and we’ll be lucky to get away with a point here. Midfield has totally left the chat

The one player consistently making mistakes is the captain, time after time he switches off and don’t even get me started on his cross field pass attempts.

Barry making better contact with a Sunderland player than he did in front of goal 🤦🏼♂️

Why on earth would that need checking by VAR, utter nonsense and a total waste of everyone’s time. No clear and/or obvious errors, just a Sunderland player acting like a fanny

The other place is a bin fire of hate and misinformation. One fella is recalling his account of being on the train where an horrific attack too place yesterday and the comments are rammed with RW blue tickers spouting utter nonsense. No thought for those injured or the first responders just hate

IMPORTANT: The Dutch invest €595 million annually on urban biking, resulting in €19 BILLION saved in public health care costs alone. That’s how smart governments do the math on investing in better mobility.
Let’s be clear— it wastes public money to NOT do it.

With all the focus on the HD and Ashes Rugby league game most will have missed the other game (different code) where England are beating Australia 10-7 at the break. 🏉

Mate who’s a Utd and Wigan RL fan just sent me his view for today’s ashes game, he’s amazed how good the stadium is. Already said it should be used for the Grand Final 😂

Caught up with a Panorama episode last night about the South American cartels buying their own container ships & using Ireland as a transit point for flooding the UK and Europe with drugs, so boats are the problem, just massive ones that contain products that devastate communities not the small ones

Someone at the BBC continuity desk will be getting a strongly worded email from the club after advertising the Ashes rugby league match and inviting viewers to “join us at Everton” 😂 no mention of Hill Dickinson whatsoever. I’m all in favour, should be called the Everton Hill Dickinson anyway.

Remember not so long ago when 3 mins of added time was ok when they were winning against us, tonight the ref indicated 7 mins of added time at the end of the second half but they played almost double that, make it make sense?
