Getting a bit obsessed with finding all the variations of Jefferson Airplane, Starship and all the side projects and solo albums. This one is great even though no Grace Slick on it. From 1979, got a real 80s rock feel to it and worth listening to for the song “Jane” alone 🤘🤘

Tried the Run 5:30 5k today in Brighton. Looked amazing down along the seafront at 5:30am just as the sun was coming up.

Got a copy of Hawkwind’s 1972 album “Doremi Fasol Latido” recently and it had a mint condition “Star Rats” poster inside. Decided it was too good to keep hidden away in the record sleeve…got it framed now and up on the wall.

After being wiped out since Thursday by a bout of Norovirus, felt better enough today to tackle this wee job in the garden - painted and put up a new arch where the old one had blown down during storm Darragh in December.

While in Dungeness me & Lou visited Lydd and found this amazing little shop, Lyons. Had nice chat with owner and she’s been there over 50 years - she took over from her parents who opened the place in the 1950’s. It has men’s/women’s clothes and a hardware section in the middle. Proper old school.

One week married! Me and Lou got married last Wednesday in secret at Brighton Registry Office. Had a nice small celebration out in Brighton then off to a cottage in windy Dungeness for a mini-honeymoon.

Had an old Maplin weather station for ages but it broke a year or so ago just before I moved down to Brighton. Found the exact same model, new and unopened, in a charity shop for a tenner. Getting it going and will get it connected to my raspberry pi next. ☔️⛈️🍃❄️🌨️☀️🌤️🌦️

Time to replace my old knackered Nike Vomero 14 running shoes with a new pair. Think they now are up to Vomero 17 edition but got a pair of old stock 15s cheap on internet so they’ll do me for another 500k or so. 🏃💨

Last year I managed to do 32 Parkruns, the most in a year I’ve done since I started 11 years ago. Loads of times I’ve got up on Saturday morning totally not in right frame of mind and feeling rubbish, but glad I persevered now. First one of 2025 today 👍
