my take on this whole franchise is that the adaptation deserves the recognition it’s getting, it’s well made and the actors did an amazing job! but the source is…meh. the characters HAVE potential, i like the dynamic (somewhat), and they have their own personal troubles. but it all feels like—
hey so you know what you gotta do when you like the characters but not the way the books written? also cause there’s barely any plot to it? you turn to the ao3 gods. see you guys
