I made a few issues of very tiny White Dwarf magazine so my Imperial Guards have something to read. If you take care of your soldiers they fight better.

WIP. I have another weird Rogue Trader era tank. It’s about 80% painted. Needs decals and final highlights. This tank was pictured in the RT rulebook (picture included here). Has it appeared anywhere else? I added a dozer and some other bits to make it look a little more 40K and a little less Joe.

I built this kit from BMT miniatures. It’s based on an illustration from the original Rogue Trader book. I have to have ALL the tanks for my guard! I green stuffed in the gaps, now it just needs paint. Anyone know what this tank is called? I can’t find any information other than the illustration.

Zap and Glerb visit the human’s trading post. Zap is hoping to score a battery pack for his pilfered lasgun but is instead tricked into buying a broken Zenith television. Glerb just tagged along to see what a human looks like, he decides humans are very suspicious and buys nothing.

I painted some scatter terrain for our Stargrave campaign. The two vending machines look fine but I thing a nurgling has been in that fridge.

I had two of the exact same Imperial Army miniatures. I didn’t want them to look like clones so today I green stuffed shades and a fat spliff for this guy.

Finished painting two more @satyrart.bsky.social troopers for my Rogue Trader era 40K Imperial Guard! Man I love these sculpts! They capture the whole vibe of the originals but give me so many new figures to paint!

Another trooper painted today for my Rogue Trader era 40K Imperial Guard army. This one is from Citadel’s Paranoia line and was released in 1987 and cataloged originally in White Dwarf 83. I’m not sure who sculpted this one but his little whistling face is totally adorbs.

Another scifi civilian NPC to fill out towns and space ports in games of Stargrave. This one is a print from Quartermaster3D. My buddy @gojimi.com printed a set of them for me. I don’t usually paint 3d prints, it’s weird, so light, like painting air. Cool sculpt though, and quick to paint.

I painted an army of these @northstarfigs.bsky.social #Oathmark miniatures for a game of Warhammer Fantasy. But now I’m thinking they might be perfect for Guards of Traitor’s Toll! Probably don’t need so many of them though!

A few more Oathmark Humans from Northstar Miniatures that I painted up last summer to play Old World and Oathmark. There’s a lot more of them. I got pretty fast at painting ducks by the end of the project. @northstarfigs.bsky.social

A few plastic 2nd edition space marines I painted up as Hawk Lords (Ultramarine successor chapter, unknown founding). They might be an army someday, that was the plan anyway. Seeing @wib.bsky.social’s recently completed Lamenters army got me thinking about painting up the rest of them.

A few plastic 2nd edition space marines I painted up as Hawk Lords (Ultramarine successor chapter, unknown founding). They might be an army someday, that was the plan anyway. Seeing @wib.bsky.social’s recently completed Lamenters army got me thinking about painting up the rest of them.
I finished the sergeant for the squad I’ve been chipping away at. Now just need my heavy and special weapons duders and I’ll have another 10 man squad completed for my #roguetrader era guard army. This mini is hand sculpted and cast in metal by @satyrart.bsky.social. It was a joy to paint.

Does anyone have recommendations for good synthetic brushes? I’ve used Windsor and Newton series 7 sable brushes for ages but I’m looking for a cruelty free alternative. I’ve tried quite a few synthetics and so far nothing is remotely comparable.
