This statement reminds me of what the Sons of the Confederate Veterans did many years ago. They used to have some members interested in history and genealogy. No longer.
Extremism has become the Republican mainstream, and they are now purging anyone reasonable from their ranks. LP Senior Advisor Stuart Stevens examines this on MSNBC:

Today I hit the Pope Leo XIV Aurelio’s Pizza in Homewood, Illinois. There’s pope merch and a Poperoni pizza and a Pope chair. Best of all, there’s a picture of pre-Pope Bob Prevost in civilian clothes when his family was together at the Pope’s favorite pizza spot.

I live in a blue state so my Marketplace premium is only going up about $200 a month next year. I don't qualify for subsidies so from @$13,000 a year to @$15,000 a year. Luckily for me, I turn 65 in February so only have to pay one month.

My city has had two female mayors in the 12 years I have lived here. As of last night, we now have a black female mayor for the first time. She has worked hard to improve her district as a city commissioner, so that bodes well.
