I had a really sad conversation with my friend on the phone the other day and had to reassure him about the state of events. It made me sad because it's getting scary in this country.

My mom has this scrabble war with this guy named Odysseus but for the longest time she called him "odious" because she wasn't sure how his name was pronounced. And then I blew her mind and suggested that it might be a bot.
