This film wasted its potential, but William Marshall, with his beautiful voice, gave it some gravitas. It did build tension well, and I love the animated opening credits. I understand its cultural importance, but for me, it was an average, pretty cheesy vampire film. #HorrorMovies #CultClassic

Why give him a claw hand if it is not going to come into play more? Fred Holbert isn't bad; he retains his childlike innocence despite his violent streak. It is a terrible but interesting film that goes nowhere and drags a little. #HorrorMovies #SlasherFilm #PsychoKiller #ExploitationCinema

I love the mixture of hard science and supernatural elements. But Peter patronising Jill and the general shouted dialogue wears thin early on and distracts from the suspense and good atmosphere. The film has some issues with the pacing. The melodramat makes it a little disappointing.

The plot is flimsy, the editing is bad, the music is annoying and the acting is terrible. The opening scene of the film within the film is better than the actual film. The ending is somewhat predictable. #HorrorMovies #Slasher #SlasherFilm #AustralianHorror
