This high concept battle of the wills doesn't quite ring true. I, unfortunately, about halfway I lost interest in the outcome. And I was disappointed when we got there. However, Anthony Hopkins' give his role some gravtis by his voice alone. And Bill Skarsgard gives his character some real depth.

There is nothing new here, ghost hunters at a creepy asylum is clichéd at this point. The acting is terrible and the dialogue is hilarious. Apart from one moment, there is no real blood or gore. #HorrorMovies #LowBudgetHorror #FoundFootage #FoundFootageHorror #SupernaturalHorror

Say what you want about the effects, but Tim Curry’s Pennywise still sends a chill down an entire generation's spine. But how does it stack up against modern hits like The Outsider or classics like Salem's Lot? Where did your favorite adaptation land? #StephenKing

Weeks ago I was seriously ill. When I finally opened my laptop to write again, I found this short story I have absolutely no memory of producing.

That feeling when Edgar Wright says Stephen King’s The Running Man novel, set in 2025, is a "chilling prediction" of where society is today. Wright's approach is a new, faithful adaptation focused on the everyman hero and the terrifying social commentary.

It is watchable but mediocre. There is too much talking and not enough action, and needs about 30mins trimmed from it. For the length it was it needed more to the story. Although, Alex Breaux is amazing as "The Monster". #HorrorMovies #FrankensteinFilm #BodyHorror #Frankenstein #ModernFrankenstein

It's been a while since I have seen a film this bad. If your film is going to be a one man show, you need a stronger actor than we got here. The story makes no sense, and it is shot terribly with odd camera angles. Horrible fight scenes and unfunny comedic moments top this shit sundae.

This film was great, just a shame it did not have much of a plot. The lead actor were brilliant in thier roles but it is a very serious talkie film. The film is not frightening and the cinematography is mundane, although there is one visuals stunning scene. The twist is fairly obvious.

Most of the film is boring, and then goes from 0 to 100. The problem is the family is very irritating. #HorrorMovies #HorrorComedy #SlasherHorror #FilmLover #FilmCommunity #HorrorFan #FolkHorror #KillerHoliday #RuralHorror

I am way too old for this film, it is not scary and for some reason, they made the main character so unlikeable. The special effects range from decent to dire. #HorrorMovies #ZombieFilm #ZombieFan #TeenHorror

This film isn't great but it is not terrible either. Like all films about our reliance on AI and deep fake problems, there are some thought provoking elements. More thriller than a horror, but there is something that doesn't sit right with me, maybe it because it is fairy predictable.

Day 10 of the #31dayhorrorchallenge - Masters of Horror. Yes, the effects are incredibly dated, although the energy devil is still great, but this is a complex and intelligent film. The dialogue is realistic and simple and the sound of the mental telekinesis is spine-tingling.

Day 9 of #31dayhorrorchallenge- David Lynch. I love this odd film with its emphasis on emotion. Although, the soundtrack was fine, the dialogue is a little corny, and the humour doesn't quite work. Apparently, some scenes were shot on a Fisher-Price video camera, so the picture quality varies.

Day 8 of #31dayhorrorchallenge- Don't answer the phone. This had an interesting premise full of suspense, shocks, and eerie scenes. That cutesy ringtone becomes creepy quickly. The film has some great acting, the cinematography is beautiful but the ending was too twisty for my liking. #HorrorMovies
