Spent the day cleaning and working on a writing talk about dialog. I'm taking a different approach. Just like finding your writing voice, characters have to find their voice. The writer's job is to make the reader believe that is what that character would say. Too often we don't listed.

OK finally caught up with life. I was hosting a writing workshop yesterday for the Library while Skate Canada was wrapping up, but WOW.
I've looked at the scores, but more important I have looked at the judge cards and WOW like Ilia's 2nd half combos are insane! I still need to see them.

So taking a little writing break this weekend and will be reading... in the garage. Look what I pulled out of a storm drain yesterday. He's in quarantine in a large dog kennel in the garage with a million blankets and food and someone with him most of the day. Meet Winston Henry. #kitten

Overslept and missed the first half of the men menning, but very happy to see technical calling edges when it normally seems to be much less enforced in men than in other categories.

I do not handle the dentist well.
This includes sitting in the waiting room while the kiddo has some work done.
I have a real phobia after a traumatic visit when I was 9. Or dentist is wonderful though, even if I cry through most of my visits. I did not pass this fear to my daughter though.

So now I evidently have a fantasy team for figure skating, and yes I am very invested for something that is a last minute decision I made late at night.

AHhhh Adam!!! OK that free skate was amazing. That first landing was so clean, and the transition from the slide, breathtaking, but that quad lutz was just .... wow. Yes the quds were great, but that 3Lz was art.

Up early to watch men's Figure Skating this morning.
So far everyone has been so good.
So many of my favorites are skating today, Lukas ....oh I don't remember the Olymic Rings tattoo, maybe it was covered before.
