Day 6 of Lies of P. Laxasia and Simon down, only one annoying boss to finish the game. The game has been quite on the easy side, most bosses have fallen in my first or second attempt but Laxasia and the puppet eating thing were an exemption, by far the most challenging bosses in the main game.

Confession time: I never tried Lies of P even tho I love souls games because of a dumb reason. Two soulslikes with very similar aesthetics were announced at the same time, I chose one side and that game flopped hard, and the after bitterness is why I never tried it. But I get it now, it's gooood.

Oh boy, this is a prime example of a director who failed to understand everything about the source material but was confident enough to think that their butchered thing is a masterpiece. Laughable writing, Smosh skit level performances, horrid cgi, the cheap haunted house makeup... yikes lol

Time to start one of my "Fine I'll finally play it" games of 2026. So far, the gameplay is really smooth and the whole games feels very Bloodborne-esque.

4 new playable characters, I hope they go for 10, call me greedy but I really want Payila, Mugen, Maria Teresa or Galleon ro have a chance 🥹. Also, the new bosses, it's definitely more than a simple port.
The Japanese version of Nintendo Direct showed a few different scenes, including Beelzebub and confirmation of a playable Maglielle.
