Perci is a character exclusive to the Sonic Boom universe and was specifically created for the game Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric. She also appears in seasons one and two of the Sonic Boom television series.

Trip was introduced to the franchise recently, as a strong hero character for players to get to know as they explore a new world. She was created as a joint effort between Takashi Izuka and Naoto Oshima.
