I finally bought an Ipad for doing digital work so I can work on new prints and stickers without having to be glued to my desktop. I have so many ideas flowing through me! Step 1 has been my painting background study.

This design is something I'm immensely proud of! It's an ambigram that I made to say Art one way & Boring when flipped upside down. It took a lot of playing around with a sketchbook filled 4 or 5 pages honing in the pattern and figuring out how to make it work

I don't post progress pictures often, but I wanted to share these. I've never been great at backgrounds, so I've started a painting study. I'm really happy with the progress so far, and have a folder of almost 100 reference photos I've taken.

Several of the solid blue and solid green bases I pre made cracked. Looking at a blue and green next to each other I had a spark of inspiration. I've been wanting to make more pieces that are stand alone scenes, and I always love a chance to make a magikarp.
