Author of the day for Black History month: bell hooks. I confess I just read her - don't want to share books I haven't actually read! And I wanted to include her because she's written children's books, a genre missing from this collection so far.

Feb 10 Black author of the day: Jennifer Eberhardt. I haven't been adding commentary, but her 2019 book "Biased" is such a great primer on racism, I can't resist. Entire books exist on some of the chapter topics, but if you are just starting your awareness journey, this is a great entry point.
