A must read article! It details so much of what I've been feeling since I was involved in a wildfire evacuation in 2023. Then dealing with trying to keep working in conservation with this feelings of despair hanging over me. We need to keep fighting for change.

What a phenomenal opportunity to be part of this collaborative and move KBAs forward!

It was fantastic to see reps from 24 orgs meet to discuss the future of Canada’s Key Biodiversity Areas.
The group discussed how to bring more awareness to these important areas, and ways to strengthen KBAs as a tool to support work by Indigenous communities & rightsholders.
