I just watched the most wonderful old movie starring Peter O'Toole and Petula Clarke... "Goodbye Mr. Chips" (1969)
... about a beautiful Love affair during the onslaught of WW2 that takes place in a boys school. It was a remake of the 1939 original which I must now find and watch.
