Hi, I’m Stevie! I’m wrapping up my MS in biology at UCF. I’m currently building a draft genome for three species of pentastomes (weird crustacean parasites). I’ve also researched electric fish metabolism/physiology.
I like traveling, finding new donut shops, and playing low-stakes video games.

My mom and I were talking about things she read in the news. She kept referring to some guy named “AL”. I let her finish her thoughts and asked her to clarify who this “AL” person was. It was ai. The only charming conversation I’ve ever had about ai.

I feel like I’m dragging my feet writing my thesis because it means the end of a major milestone and that’s terrifying. Especially given the job market for biologists right now. ☹️
