It's not Saturday, but I'm trying. Here's a little "beauty lighting" I've been experimenting with on the terminal. A nice little bloom there giving it a bit of nostalgic glow.

Chances are, if you want to create but hate the process of working at getting there, then you might simply not have found the right medium for you. Want to create stories but hate trying to paint a picture with words? Consider trying visual art. You're probably CLOSE to the right thing but not there

Between Bluesky, Twitch, & certain communities on Discord, it feels to me like a golden age for indie game devs. Like the old days of ConceptArt dot org. There are tons of awesome creative individuals working hard & supporting each other. I expect to see clusters of these devs finding success.

Patreon has never been profitable and its enormous debt to investors is being paid for more and more by its creators. We are building an investor-free alternative with a small team and have had a 100% no-dropped payments record for our entire Alpha, a better record than Patreon during the same time!
Patreon is raising the percentage it takes from new creators (again), from 8% to 10%, on August 4. People with existing Patreon pages get grandfathered into the old rate. If you're thinking about making a page, best to do it and publish it now.
