Computational biologist surviving the chaos of grad school and parenting—fueled by coffee.
I'm proud that this work is published and thankful for the excellent computational biology program I am a part of @csbpitt.bsky.social and @cmupittcompbio.bsky.social!
In @natcomms.nature.com, we used robot-controlled cytokine pulses and imaging single receptor complexes and TF dynamics reveal that repeat, dose-conserving stimulation prolongs NEMO/IKK activation and shifts NF-κB dynamics via chromatin remodeling, enabling accurate single-cell models rdcu.be/ezTxF
Time-varying stimuli that prolong IKK activation promote nuclear remodeling and mechanistic switching of NF-κB dynamics
Nature Communications - Cells rely on limited numbers of transmembrane receptors to process signals from dynamic microenvironments. Using microfluidics and endogenous reporters, the authors track...

Excited to share that my main PhD thesis chapter is published at Nature Communications! The revision included a lot of weekends in the lab, coffee, and a baby convinced that sleep was optional. Despite the chaos, my kids are adorable and sleeping again, and my paper is published!
