Why does this picture remind me of people selling bets at the races?

If I understood the horrendous scene yesterday, which feels like a planned set up to discredit Zelensky in the eyes of the American people so that Trump’s moves can be justified and gain support, it all started from a comment about the audacity to attend the White House without wearing a suit.

I have closed my X account as Twitter has been turned into a place where Musk pushes how he views the world onto others in the name of free speech. His behaviour has gone too far. His wealth doesn’t make him right and doesn’t make his views correct, yet he uses his wealth to influence/bully others.

Time considers Trump to be the person of the year, raising the convicted rather than the victim, which shines a light on our culture that affects us all, including the Church of England.
