The personal wants of a leader matter less than that of any other one member of the whole. The compliment of responsibility requires an ethical steadiness and clear head promotion of a common goal. They embrace their frailty and privately chide themselves for not being more. They are a whisper.

Watched "Anchorman" with Logan not long ago. This was his shampoo choice on a recent shopping trip. Karen confirmed my suspicion as to why. That cheeky little apple did not fall far from the tree.

The face my son made after his mom destroyed his Game Boy Tetris score and I told him "Don't worry, someday you will see how it all fits together".

Modelled up a vacuum assist ring casting system. It's 3d printing now. Quite the mind numbing project but should be well worth the effort.

I did a batch of smoked salmon this week and it turned out terrific. Next up is installing heating elements so we can also do quality BBQ. It's gonna be pretty great!

We are smoking fish for the first time today. The twenty year evolution of our homestead came from a want to live with more personal freedom and as a fun hobby. The journey has been well worth the effort.

With the anvil project pretty well in the bag the vacuum assisted casting flask can move forward. After the internally air plumbed flask is done printing these pieces and parts will print next. They will connect the shop vac to the flask. The pressure is handled via a slider over the holes.

Changed the foundry form design. All of the sections lock together with threaded inserts at a 45 degree angle. This will make for a finished anvil without mold lines. This print was 41 hours. I may add a myriad of different swage shapes to the bottom of the 100% form.

Small scale sand cast success! Got my foundry form figured. These should be a dream to mold at full scale.

13 more hours to go on a 38 hr print. Another part of the anvil puzzle is processing glacial till from the mountain on the far property into green sand (sand for metal casting). High temperature foundry burner design is on the list as well. All should come together nicely.

The first part of the armorer's anvil project is pretty well done. A 50% foundry form is on the printer now for testing. I'll be adding a myriad of different shapes on the flat back which will make this tool I intend on selling even more useful.

Back to working on the armorer's anvil. Sanding it to shape now. I have my mini 3d printed unadjusted version as a cheat sheet.

Greetings Blue Sky! My first post ever will be my project today. Im working towards casting some copies of this armorer's anvil in the spring. I'm now at the sculpting phase. After that's done it will be ready for a second 3d scan. That's what I'll make the foundry form from.
