Here's a preview of *Dreaming to a Click", my new poetry collaboration with Chris Stroffolino. The Spring 2024 issue of BlazeVOX features early drafts of three of Stroffolino's poems from the book, one we wrote together, and an outtake from the writing sessions that led to the book.

1. Golden Apples – "Mind". One of several absolute earworms on Golden Apples' new album "Shooting Star". When the mellotron hits, it's like a rush of psychedelic sugar straight to the ol' hearing pipes. #music

1. The Kevin Fingier Collective – "Comin' Home Baby". High-energy mod/ska instrumental. A brand-new version, but scuffed up just enough to make it sound like it's from c. 1968. #music

Tomi can't think too good, or she would understand that this would be a much better deal for California than it would for the rest of the USA. We generate 14% of the country's GDP and contribute far more dimes to the federal government than we get back from it.
