The against-the-spread trend only applies to the first Izzone Alumni game of the season, as I suspected. The crowd, and team, were flat in the 1st half but came alive in the 2nd after a pair of Brickin for Chicken free throws.
The overall beyond-the-spread average drops from +11 to +9.9.

With the addition of the 17th game, NFL records like this need to be ranked by per-game numbers or separated from 16-game seasons. Strahan is still the single-season sack king imo:
Strahan - 22.5 sacks/16 games = 1.41 sacks/game
Garrett - 23 sacks/17 games = 1.35 sacks/game
