@iamjulianhilliard.bsky.social I just streamed CASEY MAKES A MIXTAPE. I enjoyed it and you in it very much. The original MTV was great with all music videos. I have about 250 mixed tapes that I recorded my favorite cuts from my 5,000 LPs from the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. (1 of 2)

I am proud of myself and my taste in streaming series. Three of my favorite series this past year received multiple Emmy awards on Sunday: THE PITT, THE STUDIO, and my favorite series of the last several years, ADOLESCENCE, with one of my all-time favorite acting performances by Owen Cooper.

I guess Trump's tariffs are starting to hurt the consumer. Every Sunday, I check out online sales and prices of items I usually buy and want at CVS. Today, I discovered many of those prices have gone up 15 to 20%. I guess if I want them, there will be no more A/C for me this summer in my hot apt.

I was very saddened by Jay North's passing. I was honored to have met him and spend some time with him at his 16th birthday party. It was a nighttime party with all adults, except for Jay. I was 22 at the time. This is how he looked at our meeting.
