The Long Walk was an incredibly haunting and emotional film. Very intense moments of sound design that unapologetically made you feel like you were in those moments with the characters, with the editing not being shy of keeping you there with them in those moments as well.

28 Years Later did not dissappint one bit. It felt so faithful to 28 Days Later and its Vision. Incredible creativity shown throughout every department too

Question for film dialogue editors/post production audio folks: when you're cleaning dialogue or location audio on a film, how hard do you try to salvage and use PFX from on-set recordings? Do you find that you end up using a lot of it, or throwing most of it away?

A very simple but helpful practice I've gotten back into for organization and task management is writing to-do lists every day, along with a project list to go with it. It's gone a long way in helping me know what to prioritize and when.

How often does responding to gig posts on social media (Facee**k, X, Insta, etc.) get you the gig or at least a connection? Do they respond to you typically, or do you feel like you're essentially cold emailing someone?

Something I hadn't thought of as a milestone until now, but I may be working on my first ever bi-lingual film soon, and that's pretty exciting!

Does anybody have a recommendation for a solid pocket recorder? Right now I have a Zoom H6, but I'd like something smaller that I can literally put into my pocket to record things I come across.
