I now out earn my husband, it happens to have coincided with our kids leaving home so the extra goes on running a newer car than we could previously afford, having a second motorbike for weekend adventures and we’ll be able to afford to retire at pension age

Got mine from a farmer’s market. A 2 hour round trip which was worth it as I’ve already gifted some to my daughters and kept some for our house

I worked in call centres for years. I’m always polite and make sure I express thanks for their assistance, it’s a thankless job and often you get dog’s abuse for stuff you have no control over so a little niceness goes a long way

If you can get them, a decent Scottish morning roll is best. Failing that white bread for me unless it’s a BLT then a nice granary wholemeal for added flavour and texture. Baps and cheap white bread tend to be too sweet for my taste

I’m choked with the cold, I’ve sneezed so much the cat has started giving me evil looks. Now sat with a hot lemon, ginger, honey and whisky in the hope it knocks me out for the night

After this morning’s heavy snow, we’ve stayed put and had a long overdue diy day. Still talking but that’s possibly because grumpy needs a coffee and cake break these days instead of moaning about being interrupted

So much nicer on here compare with *that* site. I’m loving seeing fur babies, book lovers and science facts rather than fiction. Not just that I’m seeing the folk I follow rather than being force fed guff

Our youngest daughter moved out 2 weeks ago, our laddie moved into her room cause it was bigger and I scored a home office. After fumigating and redecorating I moved in at the weekend. I’ve had visitors already
