Y'know, if the show had wanted to, they could've still had this Dimera story and used Shawn (an actual Horton) to connect all of this. He could've been at the baby shower, investigating the clinic with Leo, and filling in Julie about Doug 3 (Doug could've reached out to Hope instead of Robin). #Days

I’ll compliment the show for giving us some nice flashbacks this week. And for bringing a lot of people together for a single event. But as usual, they did it in the most boring way, with weird writing, underuse of vets they brought back and strange interactions. #Days

Sami's back for the 60th, presumably due to her connections and history as trouble-maker for 30 years and instead of doing anything with that, she's engaged to a character we've never met (and never will), defending him to her exes & family, and will likely breeze out without any drama 😐 #Days

I wish there were more chemistry amongst the college kids on #Days. The Tate/Holly/Sophia triangle should be on fire and it's barely tepid. WHERE IS THE SOAP OPERA?!

#Days is starting to be over-reliant on sending its older characters on trips to Chicago and then having them come back for exposition dumps at the Brady pub.

Ok, after 2 weeks in Oahu, I've not watched #Days once. And honestly? It's been nice to not spend 38 minutes a day angry at a soap opera.

Catching up on #Days it's weird that Cat Greene gets 3 siblings, a job, a secret job, a not-so-secret nephew and a romance while Belle and Shawn get nothing. Jada hasn't had anything to do in ages. Even the Hernandez family has been just...bobbing along.

So, Aaron had unprotected sex with Sophia and got her pregnant but he and Tate are the real victims here bc Aaron’s family life sucked and Tate spent 9 months thinking he was the father. This story is gross. #Days

Tate and Brady’s scenes were quite the chore because Tate is being written as the dumbest man alive and the actor is still going up at the end of each sentence like Shaggy on Scooby-Doo. #Days

One thing that bothers me about #Days, that is indicative of the care this show takes, is that set pieces are busted looking af. Walls with scuff marks, banged up doors, chipped paint. Like, y'all know you tape in HD! Easier to fix than the bad writing and acting, and yet! And yet!
