This is how a camera should move, slowly and deliberately, if it moves at all.
The multi Academy Award winning 🇺🇸 American romantic drama “CASABLANCA” directed by Michael Curtiz and starring Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, Claude Rains, Paul Henreid and Dooley Wilson premiered at the Hollywood Theater in New York City #OnThisDay in 1942

In Monrovia, California, protesters are purchasing 17¢ ICE scrapers from Home Depot and immediately returning them to create long lines and slow down the entire store. Their aim is to disrupt sales and convey a message opposing ICE raids occurring in their neighborhood.

I'm all in on Paul doing a bass version of 4:33.

.@samcorbin.bsky.social Expressed geometrically, a streak is a line between two points, so two games alone create a streak.

And four grains of sand would constitute a heap if one's atop the other three as in a tetrahedron.

This is not the first time, I bet, that this thug has gone out of his way to hit young black men.

No duh. A photographer in place? No damage to his ear, but blood that appeared once he slapped a squib against it? Deliberately "epic" reaction at a desperate moment in his campaign?
This needs to get a LOT of traction.

Rightwing Catholics are wishing the Pope would go back to, as they did before Vatican II, speaking only in Latin so they could make up what they thought he was saying.
I have to imagine far-right Catholics are really struggling with the fact that they can now hear this stuff in English directly from the pope.
“How did you receive the foreigner? And did you receive him and welcome him or not?”

Pope Leo XIV challenges us to reflect on the moral cost of policies that target deeply-root immigrants and families.

I was telling a guy who may run for office, do these three things:

1. Ask everyday voters what they want, listen, then do those things.
2. Endlessly boost the place you want to run, not yourself.
3. When in doubt, do what Mamdani would do.
A few days after the presidential election one year ago, we went to Fordham Road in the Bronx.

It was a little different last week.

The numbers Trump's given for his throne room don't add up because he just made them up. Also the numbers are large because his penis is so small. And the drawings were done by AI.

The use of "neighbors" is significant. It's the word used in the parable of the Good Samaritan.
REV. BLACK (who was shot in the head with a pepper ball): “If this is what they’re doing to pastors, journalists, teachers, mothers, and the elderly gathered to sing and pray outside ICE facilities… what might they be doing to our neighbors who are behind those walls?”

Republicans are officially the boogeyman, the terror in the night.
Pritzker: "Imagine it. Children who woke up that morning, expectant with joy & excitement to put on their costumes & celebrate with their neighbors in what they thought was a safe place at their homes. Armed, masked agents, terrorizing innocent people, especially children, is unconscionable."

I will live long enough to see Trump suffer what the Roman's called "damnatio memoriae," the damnation of memory. His name will be removed from everything he built, his throne room will ripped down, and his existence will erased, even as Vance tries to make him a national saint.
Funders of Trump's $300M ballroom and East Wing destruction include:

-Amazon
-Apple
-Coinbase
-Lockheed Martin
-Google
-Meta
-Microsoft
-Palantir
-Tobacco companies
-The Adelson family

Don't forget — they're not just buying a ballroom. They're buying Trump's favor.

It's not a ballroom. It's a throne room.
Leavitt: "At this moment in time, of course, the ballroom is really the president's main priority."
