Great, another app to manange.
I haven’t been on here in a while, but in case you didn’t see it on any of my other platforms, I took Ben to the movies for the first time in his life a week and a half ago. Another Autism milestone complete!

He absolutely loved Superman and it’s easily been the highlight of my summer so far

Love the Pacers, but I’m not picking the plucky underdog to beat the clear best team that’s been kicking everyone’s ass since opening night.

That’s what all the Celtics haters did with the Mavericks last year and they ended up looking incredibly dumb

Just checking in on this app to let you all know I want to die.

That is all

Me, every year between January and April:

“This is excruciating. I need this regular season to end so we can get to meaningful basketball games again.”

Me today, crippled by the anxiety of knowing my team’s fate will be decided in the next 6 hours:

“Fuck, this is so much worse”

Tatum’s missing the first playoff game of his career and the public perception is that he’s being a soft baby, mainly because his coach thought it would be SUPER COOL AND TOUGH to publicly shame him the other day.

Very awesome thing to happen as we try to defend the title 👍

Thank you for all the kind words I received! Ben had a blast and he can always say they won the first game he attended!

Today is an important step in Ben’s Celtics fandom. He’s been a Celtics die-hard since day one, but his Autism makes it difficult to take him to a game. But due to his hard work and tremendous growth, we were able to make it a reality today.

It’s gonna be a great afternoon! 😍

When I see Gen Z freaking out about a recession as they start their careers

Man, @dartadams.bsky.social really is the star of Celtics City

The Knicks deserved to lose to the Hornets tonight for what Ben Stiller did to Mark and Gemma

So much of the plot of Severance hinges on the idea that the heiress of Lumon is willing to seriously jeopardize her safety and the company as a whole and no one seems to care. And don’t just say it’s to get Mark to finish Cold Harbor. Mark’s not even in the office and she’s STILL down there

The Celtics went 8-8 over a span of a month from December 19th - January 18th.

In the other 51 games they’ve played this season they’re 40-11, which is a better win percentage than what they had last year.

Now *that* was some vintage Severance

The Celtics are definitively the third best team in the league and I don’t think there’s any argument that they should be higher.

That said, they’re closer to 1 and 2 than they are to 4, and they have far more playoff experience then than 1 and 2 have combined. At some point that’s going to matter

Watched this week’s Severance again and loved it even more the second time.

Do I miss our lovable refiners? Of course! But one of the things that drew me to this show way back in 2022 was the performances, and this week everyone knocked it out of the park. Patricia Arquette’s best episode imo

I was thinking about what Baylor Scheierman comps Tommy would have made if he was alive to call the game last night.

Then I realized he never lived to see a minute of Pritchard on the Cs (died right before his rookie year started) which makes me really sad because he would have loved him

Holy shit man. Holy shit.

That was Severance’s “The Constant.”

@c0urtney-danvers.bsky.social saw this and thought of you. Luke Kornet (who I know is pretty religious) has a travel blog where he reviews churches he attends when the Celtics go on the road. Unfortunately no posts since 2023 but it has all the charm you’d expect from Luke lukekornet.medium.com

Me and @c0urtney-danvers.bsky.social have talked a lot over the years about how important it is to look locked in after the ASB. Their play immediately after the break last year is what gave me the confidence that they were going to win it all. They’re doing it again this year

Please take the All-Star game seriously!", said the NBA to its players, while also having them heckled by Kevin Hart and being third fiddle to car adverts and announcer tributes.

Bring back the East versus West trackmeets. At least the players enjoyed them - and it's them it's supposed to be about.
