Watched this about 200 times now. Ray Houghton losing his head on commentary is chefs kiss 😂
Troy Parrott. Echos of Robbie Keane's goal against Germany in 2002. What a moment. #COYBIG 🇮🇪

Football is a low scoring game. The closer you are to the line the more susceptible you are to luck being a deciding factor on the outcome of a game.
Ye olde xG per game chart w/various lightweight takes:
1. Arsenal is the blueprint here, 7 good games, 4 ~equal, 0 bad
2. Man City no bad games recently
3. stacking up the bad games: West Ham (but 2 good), Wolves (0 good) and Burnley (0 good) and curiously Bournemouth
4. No "good" Tottenham game :/

This is the way.
Building with a double pivot again and Liverpool all of a sudden look to be able to play football.

So far this is the best the press had worked all season. Having said that Villa play to invite the press so.......

This is excellent...
Tony Adams was one of the great English footballers of his generation.

But what he’s done since — transforming his own life and others’ through the Sporting Chance charity he founded — is truly inspirational.

“This,” he says, “is what I was put on this earth to do”

What happened after Tony Adams said, ‘I’m an alcoholic’ – ‘There’s more to me than drinking and football. Thank God’
It is 25 years since the former England and Arsenal captain founded the Sporting Chance Clinic, helping athletes with addiction problems

Kieth Andrews is the only man in the world with 3 haircuts.
We cannot lose to a man with that haircut.

100% this. Astonished he was part of the midfield 3 tonight.
The #1 Question I had going into the season was whether Wirtz was good enough off the ball to be a 3rd midfielder in the PL.
14 games in and its an emphatic no. He can only be the 3rd forward with 3 actual mids behind him #lfc

That's an odd substitution to say the least.

Ekitike, Robertson and Writz have to be first choice starters. Strong case for Jones too. Having a No. 8 with who positions more defensively helps hugely with being played through. Especially with Writz roaming.

Could have done with spreading those goals out over the last few games.

The one thing baffling me is I haven't seen one thing yet that makes me think Kerkez is currently as good a player as Andy Robertson. Not saying Kerkez is not a good player by the way.

This is loaded with real world use questions. For example my e-share drive % is 75%. Community e-share drive is 35%. So I use the electric part of my plug in waaaay more than the average person. Put 40 euros of petrol in 5 weeks ago. Done 800km since. Still have 100km on the clock! ~85mpg so far 🤷

Up there with one of the best things I've ever watched.
For anybody in the UK who didn't subscribe to Paramount+, ITVX will be streaming The Offer - a drama series about the making of The Godfather. It's excellent.

It was sensational.....
littler v price in the grand prix tonight comfortably the best thing i've seen on television all year. it's better than anything i've read or listened to. comfortably outstrips entire fields. eg: country music, ballet, sculpture. it deserves a book that would immediately be rendered unworthy of it

Must be watching a different game. Didn't think Liverpool were nearly as sloppy as some making out. Konate, yes. Keeper once. Thought Chelsea far more sloppy 🤷 look much more balanced in midfield than previous games.

When there's little jeopardy in these early games difficult to have any interest in any match but one involving the team you support.

Work rate bad. Second balls bad. Distances from opposition players bad. Konate's form a major concern. Could say Alisson, VVD, Szobo, Grav and Ekitike are the only ones with any form. Writz in the 10 isn't working. Too many spaces. Back to basics. Robbo at left back. Grav, Macca, Szobo midfield.
