This time last week I was feeling so high and positive about the end of the season - this week has zapped alot of memento and belief - football is such an emotional rollercoaster - hope we can bounce back and end the season on a high but the team looked so off yesterday - no idea why…

With results already this weekend, and hopefully a Liverpool win later, a win on Tuesday would be massive and put us back in the race for top 4 🤞🏻

It would be absolute madness to go into the rest of the season with just Konsa as a RCB - they’ve wanted this position since the summer, Carlos left over a week ago and we are now into the last day of window signing attackers…. 🤷🏻♂️trying to keep the faith but we need a CB tomorrow #avfc

Signing players isn’t always the answer but I’d be amazed if the line about not talking about January signings is true - we badly need defensive authority and grade A no.10 we did in the summer and still do now IMO

I wonder if we will see abit of freshen up this evening, maybe a return to the Mings/Konsa CB pairing, possibly a start for Buendia in the 10 position maybe?

Wouldn’t say today is “must” win but a win would keep top 4 plans going, ultimately getting back into Europe and the europa league is key aim so early days but a good result and getting back to winning with some (hopefully) winnable home games coming up - could be a key key week in the season UTV
