Gotta love the “unlike you” he could sit for a civil debate in an email where he calls me a cunt, bitch and a lying piece of shit. Almost as good as the professor who railed against me for writing a hit piece on Kirk but then admitted he hadn’t read it just listened to Megyn Kelly’s podcast.

Literally been asking myself this question.
At what point does a governor call up their National Guard to oppose the deployment of an out-of-state National Guard?

One stark marker of how much our society has devolved in just a few years is Bob Iger personally got on a call to convince us to let Disney/HULU make the 1619 Project. That America no longer exists.

So you also didn’t read the reparations essay in the book because it explicitly argues against white people feeling guilt for their ancestors. And why is unity always predicated on Black people ignoring the distinct disadvantage they have because of racial caste?

The train stabbing in Charlotte was awful. It is no more awful than school children being shot down in a church. Journalists should not allow ourselves to become tools of propaganda. If Charlotte is a product policies, than so was Minneapolis. Outrage should not drive our coverage.

Again:Journalists are not stenographers. We are to get information, report and verify the facts, and then report the reality not the talking point. What Trump is doing in DC and threatening in cities is NOT a crime crack down because he says it is. Don’t regurgitate. Report the truth not propaganda.

Six years ago @nhannahjones.bsky.social released "The 1619 Project," and the world hasn't been the same since.

It marked the 400th anniversary of the arrival of enslaved Africans to American shores.

6 years later, it's become a war over history. With the latest battle taken to the museums

Im begging yall,

Please stop arguing with black people on what should be counted as "African American".

Mamdani himself is not trying to make this argument.

It was a bad look but nobody cares really...

UNTIL YOU TRY TO ARGUE WITH AFRICAN AMERICANS WHAT COUNTS AS AFRICAN AMERICAN!

When you don’t have anything else to write you regurgitate a column you have been writing since 2019, and as a conservative columnist cite Trotskyites if it condemns centering slavery in the American story. Thanks for continuing to prove the impact of the 1619 Project. You still mad?

I didn’t give a wit about new pope coverage, but the first American pope being a man with Black ancestry born in Chicago by way of New Orleans by way of Haiti. Names his self after the pope who condemned slavery? In the Trump era? Oh, baebae, I am HERE for it.

The newly elected pontiff, born in Chicago, has ancestral ties to the city’s historic Seventh Ward, according to genealogists at The Historic New Orleans Collection.

Do we wonder why white descendants of apartheid would be seen as assimilating very easily into the United States over other groups, or nah.

Listen, I learned four years ago when I rejected UNC for Howard the tremendous power of these two words: I refuse.
"For me, the answer now lies in refusal, the withdrawal of participation from systems that require dishonesty as the price of belonging."

Today I am resigning from the National Science Board and the Library of Congress Scholars Council.

I wrote about my decision in TIME.

Is it really too much to ask media outlets reporting on invading Greenland & Canada to lead with "THIS IS WILDLY ILLEGALLY UNDER BOTH OUR NATO AND UN TREATY COMMITMENTS, WHICH ARE ALSO PART OF US LAW"? The normalization of this is wildly inappropriate & there is no excuse for it.

We keep writing about this destruction without getting to the core of it. “White Americans who are racially resentful towards Blacks, hold negative views of immigrants, and believe that whites are being discriminated against are especially likely to hold anti-democratic beliefs.”
Study shows growing link between racial attitudes and anti-democratic beliefs among White Americans
A new study reveals anti-democratic beliefs among white Americans are strongly linked to racial resentment and perceived white status threat. This connection has grown stronger over the last decade.
