Just finished “Steal Like an Artist” by @austinkleon.bsky.social and it was amazing! The fact it has taken me so long to read it is a crime. I have so many page flags and post it notes in this book. I already want to read it again. #art

Just read How to be an Artist by Jerry Saltz and it was wonderful. It had so many things I needed to hear within its pages. 💜

And StoryGraph is 100x better imo. The challenges are my favorite and motivates me to read different things!
Goodreads is owned by Jeff Bezos. A better alternative is StoryGraph, a Black woman-owned platform. And before y’all start, you can transfer all your Goodreads data to Storygraph so you literally have no excuse.
