Last one from the “Bay Area, When?” show. There was a fun back wall, complete with security camera, that was just outside the “cafe”. The cafe was the space’s kitchen, with nice-smelling coffee to drink, and an early 2000s video of a funny cable access “news” show. #cctv #cableaccess

One of the funniest things I ever saw at #burningman was a gift: a guy had a trash bag full of free lighters. Thing was, he had taped tiny USA flags on toothpicks to the lighters. First light was burning the flag. I laughed when I burned mine, and still laugh thinking about the whole memory #flags

A recent trip to Hollywood was mostly full of advertisement stencils. I did find a few gems, and this Star Wars Jedi/Rebel Alliance logo mash up was a surprise. I can only speculate what FV means, but in the case of May the Fourth... F..k Vader fits! #maythefourth #starwars #jedi #hollywood

Caught the #freakytales movie last night at the Balboa Theater. It is filled with Oakland/East Bay 1980s vibes, and includes a high body count of bleeding/dead fascists. When 924 Gilman Space voted to beat some skinhead ass, I had to raise my hand in support. #oakland #antifa #movies

Caught this roller piece on the sidewalk outside of my activist day job... rolled down fm Grant, past Kearny, and off the curb 100ish feet away. It is a phrase artist Zara Thrustra uses, but they denied doing this. A few hours later, the buff was on with pressure washers.... #stopmen #graffiti
