US border agents do have the authority to make you open a locked phone. They can confiscate and they can hold you until you are deported. Think twice before visiting. Better yet don't travel to the US.

This beautiful, welcoming, judgement-free space is closing today because the Provincial Government doesn’t value the lives of people who use drugs. Under the guise of being too close to a daycare, they pulled funding for these life saving programs and wrap around supports.

WARNING: The WRCSB is voting Monday on a motion that would ban pride flags, slogans, and symbols from being hung or shown (even on a sticker!) on school property. Even teacher's personal flags would not be allowed.

Agency: We used to have people using drugs in our bathrooms and we put up some posters telling them about the CTS and then the number of people using drugs in our bathroom sharply decreased. Where are we supposed to tell people to go now?

With the closure of CTS locations in Kitchener and Guelph, public spaces will become unsafe injection sites. Closing CTS doesn’t mean that folks will stop using drugs, it just means that they’ll be using in washrooms, alleys, parks…without the wraparound supports needed to keep them safe and alive.

Vancouver Island doctors set up overdose prevention sites without government blessing
The sites are being set up at Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria and Nanaimo General Hospital, and organizers plan to run them all through this week.
