Really at the point where protests need to step up. Peacefully. The govt might use it as an excuse to bring in troops. They can't do that across more than one or two states.

Canada and everyone else has to decide if they are a sovereign nation or a vassal state. To threaten countries that want to do their own trade deals, views on free speech, immigration etc. Other than militarily the US will find it is not supreme. It's economy can be crashed.
