Some DMs are puppeteers, with a story to tell and everyone else is just there to witness it. But in DooM & Dastardlies, players can try being narrators too. They bluff, they lie, they bend fate.

Trying to define what a ttrpg "is" is so weird to me. Feels like marketing brainworms, the only function I feel like the name and definition serve is for telling the book seller what shelf to put it on. At is worst it feels like that weird obsession with categorising *everything*.

The #RuleOfFun is a lie we tell ourselves to justify bad game design.

If your system needs the #DM to cheat to be fun, the problem isn't the dice—it's the system.

My solution? Let EVERYONE cheat. Openly.
