See here: pureinfotech.com/disable-ai-o... However, one of the steps didn't work and I had to modify it. In Step 11, for the Edge browser, I had to add "https://www.google.com/search?udm=14&q=%s" rather than the recommended "{google:baseURL}/search?udm=14&q=%s" in the URL setting. Works now.

To disable Google AI Overviews results in search, on Chrome and Edge create a custom search engine using "{google:baseURL}/search?udm=14&q=%s" code.
