With the US's current dynamic, I am eerily familiar with the abusive dynamic and manipulation tactics as an abuse survivor. Censorship kept me and my sibs under lock and key, an openly hostile parent and a placating parent remind me much of the right and left in our country.

I see a lot of people currently underestimating the power of protests against what's been happening in the US, and please I urge you to listen to my story with an open mind.
