No I don’t care if AI art gets used for internal playtesting cards. We used to playtest with no art, and it was worse in every way. Shoving something random on there from Google images is the same thing. If they start publishing AI art then wake me up. #fabtcg

So I haven’t been able to eat most nightshades, like tomatoes, bell peppers, etc. for a while, but chili was always fine. Though now it looks like I will have to give up chili.
Thankfully it looks like potatoes are fine for now. Completely different type of irritants.

Apparently for the weekend this works even if you are blocking with a 6 power. Unsure exactly why, either it was misprinted, or the judges ruled it wrong and it would cause too much confusion to correct it. Unsure for now. Maybe an errata but would be a weird call after skyward serenade was left

So I mean it looks like some solid reprints are coming. I am happy, I think this is a great move by LSS, and I expect these are the test cards before they actually move on to other key staples like CnC. #fabtcg Warmongers just became affordable for a lot of people.

To follow on the idea that FAB spend has increased consider this. In many older sets, like outsiders, there was a very tight pool of cards you needed to play one of the classes in a set. But the trend recently is towards draft friendly set spanning themes like Pirate. 1/3

Look I’ve been pretty clear the whole wrestling theme and “hat set” vibes coming out of super slam aren’t for me. But I am still enjoying seeing the new mechanics, and the experimentation with intellect etc that we are seeing. #fabtcg designers constantly try to push the framework to new limits

Just to further double down on the notion that the cost of board games and TCGs are getting outside what their target demographics can afford, I have seen two separate instances, one for mtg and one for game found of built in (not ad insert) buy now pay later alongside their produced. #fabtcg

There will be a video out next week, explaining my thoughts. But the tldr is that Steelfur Speaks is done. Mix of time pressures, hobby diversification, and some dissatisfaction with #Fabtcg that I’ll get into in the video. Prices play a role, but there are other bits

Honestly I love gamers some times. New rules as written for #killteam mean you currently can’t move the advanced necron digital matrix through walls. Some people might just do jt anyway, but no gamer rules lawyers. 🤣
