Our Pram Service is at 10.15 am on select Fridays in the Lady Chapel and lasts for about 10 minutes. We share a short Bible story, a song and a simple prayer. Join us for our next short service on Friday 13 February.

Save the date! At Evensong on Thursday 5 March, the Cathedral will be formally receiving the Bury Psalter, which has been gifted by the King Edward VI Grammar School Foundation Trust. Dating from around 1400, it was used at the ancient Abbey of St Edmund. Everyone is welcome at this special service

On the fourth anniversary of the invasion of Ukraine, Tuesday 24 February, a prayer station will be available in the Cathedral and all services will focus on praying for peace. We look forward to welcoming members of the Ukrainian community to Evensong as we stand alongside them and pray together.

February’s Dogs of the Cathedral Calendar model is Bandit the Dachshund. Bandit wore his best bowtie for the occasion. Bandit is also the adopted brother of our July model, Koda!

Dogs are welcome at the Cathedral, if they are well-behaved and, on a lead. 🐕‍🦺

Bishop colleagues from our partner dioceses of Kagera, Lweru, and Biharamulo, have been visiting for the past ten days. Bishops Darlington, Godfrey, and Vithalis came for Bishop Joanne's enthronement and have spent their time here visiting churches, charities, schools and farms around the diocese.
