C’mon BBC, Osprey identified as Golden Eagle on “Mortimer and Wise: Gone Fishing” and Buzzard as White Tailed Eagle on “Daisy May and Charlie Cooper’s Nighwatch”. You can do better and bird nerds will hold you accountable to these crimes against bird misidentification.

I’ve finished my Fieldfare pochoir paintings and I have to say I’m really pleased with them! There are 8 paintings available and one is in someone’s Etsy basket already (!), so don’t miss out. katiefullerart.etsy.com/listing/4413...

Female Red-footed Falcon hawking insects over my head in lovely evening light on Sunday; well worth the cycle out to Swaffham Prior Fen for. There have been at 8-9 individuals seen in Cambs so far this spring @cambsbirdclub.bsky.social #ukbirding

Brief but extremely close view of one of the barn owls this frosty morning. Came within a few metres. Can’t beat this kind of weather

Fieldfares and redwings were flinging themselves at the last few accessible cotoneaster berries this morning (despite the thaw). But hearing a great tit singing made me think of primroses and new green leaves and spring isn’t all that far away…

At long last… I have trimmed and editioned the Garganey #linocut prints that I started earlier this year! You’ll find them here: katiefullerart.etsy.com

I used one piece of lino to print all the different colours of ink. There are 10 of these prints in the edition and there can be no more!
