Proof of Concept. Part 1/2
If we only understood that at the very core we are ALL meaning-seeking, get depressed when we do nothing, and have a yearning to belong to something, it would be clear as day that UBI is the way. Our institutions could work with people's health issues in good faith, instead of exacerbating them.

Don't be dismayed by what national economists say about UBI. They used to say that the 40-hour work week, weekends off, and the banning of child labor would crash the economy too. Thomas Malthus even argued that poor families needing child labour was part of a natural population–poverty mechanism.

In a world that has systemically eliminated the risk of starvation through UBI, employers will have two choices: Either attract people with higher wages, or provide meaningful work. The end result? Better mental health for everyone, and the elimination of work that not even higher wages can rescue.

You like videogames? Imagine the boost to original ideas when developers are free to try things without the fear of utter destitude. This means less crap like CoD and more groundbreaking gems like the GOTY - Cla. Obs. Exp. 33. UBI gives us all the prerequsite for success - experimentation space!

To employers fearing they'll loose employees with UBI; Guess what, you'll have no choice but to "gain an ability" to retain them - either through a pleasant working-environment and meaningful work, or better wages. Become good at either or all, and you're business will thrive like never before.

Think about it for a moment. We could actually have a system that enables people - instead of damaging them. The truth is, we could've had it DECADES ago! This even goes for those at the top. Because greed too is a result of systemically induced psychological damage.
November 30, 2025 at 10:47 AM
The only thing worse than the greedy at the top are the delusional masses in the middle enacting their punch-down agenda, not realizing that they could be just one unexpected event away from falling victims themselves to what they helped enact and sustain.

Do we elect them so they can turn around and take money from interests that seek to divide and dominate us, in order to have our focus shifted away from the sickness that is their unbridled greed?
November 28, 2025 at 9:45 PM
Capitalism was always exploitative and unfair. But now that it's become completely unfettered, it's basically plotting its own assasination. The monkeys at the top are simply too high on their own supply to be able to steer their titanic-sized greed in a direction away from the iceberg.

If we do ever manage to get out of the civilizationally existential mess we're in, it will be because we realized that we held back morality on all levels of society - simply by insisting on not systemically eradicating poverty.

In a world where thruth is increasingly sacrified at the alter of power, we need the new social contract of UBI to widen people's capacity to care about things outside their immediate survival.
November 19, 2025 at 6:06 PM
UBI is about understanding human nature on a fundamental level. About truly internalizing the truth that we're all meaning-seeking creatures. About ridding our society of the false dichotomy that we're simply lazy by nature - that 'guess who' profits handsomely off of.

UBI: They told you that you're free. But not ever that you're just free to be.
November 16, 2025 at 12:41 AM
Let's be real, UBI is not for Me, or for Thé. It's for Us! It is a push for Unity. And sustainable values.

Taking a stance for the Unconditional Right to Exist of everyone is simply the most human thing you can do. Support UBI!

UBI gives everyone space - to find their own place in the world.
November 13, 2025 at 5:23 PM
UBI is about shrinking primitive behavior in society as much as possible. The existence of poverty is a big part of the problem. And in a sustainable world our minds and empathy grow - more than our muscles and competitive tendencies.
November 13, 2025 at 5:36 AM
It should come as no suprise to anyone that desperate and scared people are easier to exploit. Therefore the decades long gutting of the welfare state. All in the name of money, power, and material things. All in the name of excesses for the few, and breadcrumbs for the many.
October 22, 2025 at 2:39 PM
The only things that trickle down in the so-called "trickle down economy" are bad values and precarious living conditions. All while the egos and the greed of the monkeys on top of it all grow bigger and more out of hand with each stock-buyback. Time for a UBI-economy.

We don't know about you, but we find ethnically clean societies to be a depressing thought. We need that diversity each day as a reminder of life's endless possibilities.

You can kill someone’s spirit without laying a hand on them. That’s the hidden violence of our welfare system.
