i have a melting pot of interests but my most notable at the moment are outer wilds, super mario, portal, hollow knight, among various tv shows and movies!!

Beautiful 1860s Victorian butterfly, which was used to store small packets of sewing needles on the underside of the wings. This was a collaboration between a London-based drapers company and a sewing needle manufacturer. On exhibit at Tatter Blue, a Brooklyn textile museum.

Small brass butterfly. The underside of the butterfly, which has little pockets to store sewing needle packets. The underside of the wings are decorated with two plates. One carries an inscription of the drapers company: "Copestake, Moore, Crampton & Co. - London." The other has a gilded head of Minerva, the Roman goddess of wisdom, art, trade, and war. Feldspar was the first Hearthian to be intentionally launched into space. They completed the first orbit around Timber Hearth and later made the first of what would be many landings on our moon, the Attlerock.

guardian feldspar brought a baby jasper to the observatory to meet chert, who was ~14 at the time!! i like to think that chert’s always had a soft spot for jasper, they’re both stargazers after all <3

they're pretty quiet before launching, but the time loop brings out their reckless and impatient tendencies.

they enjoy hiking, fishing, and getting into mischief w hatchlings and younger folk. they're always stocked full with stories and snacks

been playing a bunch of archipelago randomized #outerwilds lately. fun times!
