Its almost impossible to avoid us AI with popular software. Applications like Photoshop have AI functions embedded along with popular search engines. Those that say they refuse to use it may well be already doing so.

Many progressives went into the 2024 election with the idea that people wouldn't elect Trump after all the scandals, investigations, statements, and the capitol building from 2021. Never take for granted that people will magically vote for the "right" or more law abiding candidate.
